8/30/2010 - Gosper County Sheriff`s Office is asking for help with Burglaries at the Johnson Lake.

Subjects entered occupied residences during the night taking small items like cash, phones, credit cards, sunglasses, and cameras. Subject was confronted by residents on one occasion then fled the scene.

A dark complected male approximately 5`08" 160lbs. Tatoos both arms short hair, wearing shorts with tank top and hat on backwards.

6/27/2010 - Zion Lutheran Church Theft

The Dawson County Sheriff`s Officer is investigating the theft of a microphone stand.

Sometime between the 10th of May and the 10th of June a person or persons entered the Zion Lutheran Church. The person or persons removed a black microphone stand. The stand is used to hold a microphone used for singing.

2/1/2010 - Stolen Ranch Supplies

The Gosper County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the theft of cattle panels and square hay bales from a pasture that ran along Highway 23, west of Elwood. Sometime around 12/25/2009, person(s) unknown removed around 60 square bales and between 23 and 30 cattle panels. Some of the panels were painted one side, and others were not. The loss of the theft is valued around $2,800.00 making this crime a felony. If you have any information, call the hotline, or submit your web tip for cash.

10/19/2009 - Rural Vehicle Damage

The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of crimes beginning with Road 760 from Highway 21 to Road 435. Sometime during the early morning hours of October 6th, 2009, person(s) unknown damaged several vehicles, damaged a business, and stole a car. The vehicle was recovered, however extensively damaged. Also taken were tools and three rechargeable batteries. Anyone with any information regarding this or any other case is encouraged to leave a tip. Crime stoppers will pay a cash reward resulting in the arrest of whoever is responsible for this case.

10/5/2009 - Boat Damage

The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating damage to a boat that occurred sometime between 10:00pm on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 and 8:30am on the 4th. Damage to the Galaxy Tri-Hull inboard/outboard boat was done to inboard motor, which was in excess of an estimated $1,500. Information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for this felony case will receive a cash reward.

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on South Harrison Street on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009. During the early morning hours, person(s) unknown gained entry to a garage/shop and removed numerous masonry tools and construction equipment. 8/17/2009 - 100th Meridian Bowling alley

The Cozad Police Department is currently investigating a burglary that occurred at the 100th Meridian Bowling alley.  Sometime during the nighttime hours of Sunday, July 26th, or the early morning hours of Monday, July 27th, 2009, person(s) unknown damaged the front door of the building.  Once inside, the suspect(s) unknown removed several bottles of alcohol.  The damage sustained was in excess of $900 on this felony case.  Submit your tip today to receive a good cash reward!

The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a burglary complaint that was fielded at Nebraska Truck and Equipment located in Lexington. Sometime possibly during the night hours of Monday, May 18th or the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 19th, 2009, person(s) unknown entered into the business and removed personal property located inside. 6/1/2009 - Cozad Home Invasions

The Cozad Police Department is currently investigating several home invasions that occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, May 21st, 2009. The suspects targeted homes in the northwest corner of town and entered into several. The Cozad Police Department is encouraging anyone with information to provide it to police, or anonymously through crime stoppers. The Dawson County Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of the people responsible.
